Client Stories

People enter my work through very different doors. Sometimes it is desire, sexuality, relationships, or pleasure. Sometimes it is spirituality, shadow work, embodiment, confidence, identity, or simply wanting to understand themselves more deeply. My work in Erotic Intelligence creates room for all of those questions to exist together.

Names and identifying details are kept private. Some details may be adjusted to protect client confidentiality.

Learning to Stand in His Own Life

One of my long-term clients is a young entrepreneur and spiritual teacher.

He didn’t come to me because his life was falling apart. He came because he wanted to know himself better.

He wanted more self-awareness. More self-love. More confidence. He wanted to understand how he moved through the world, how he related to people, how he carried himself, and even something as simple as how he stood when he spoke.

A lot of our work has lived in the space between spiritual self-discovery, embodiment, and shadow work — noticing the parts of himself he felt confident showing people and the parts he was still learning how to stand beside without shrinking.

At one point we were literally talking about standing upright, taking up space, and allowing himself to be seen differently.

We’ve now worked together for about a year.

Relationships have also been part of that exploration. He is single and has multiple partners, but what mattered to him was that he didn’t want to build that life through secrecy. He wanted the people involved with him to know what was true.

Today, his partners know about one another. They have met, spent time together, and even traveled together.

That doesn’t mean everybody has the same relationship with him or the same boundaries.

They don’t need to.

For him, this work has been much bigger than sex or dating. It has been about allowing his spirituality, relationships, leadership, confidence, sexuality, and sense of self to belong to the same person.

He came wanting to discover himself more deeply.

A year later, that is still what we’re doing.

Becoming Someone New After Menopause

A woman came to me while navigating life after menopause.

Her questions weren’t only about pleasure.

We talked about her changing body, spirituality, money, receiving, purpose, intuition, sexuality, and what she wanted the next part of her life to look like.

Part of that became shadow work too — looking at old beliefs about womanhood, aging, desire, the body, and who she thought she was supposed to be by this stage of her life.

There can be this strange idea that when a woman reaches a certain age, she should already know who she is.

But sometimes an entirely different set of questions begins.

Our conversations became less about trying to return to the woman she had been and more about embodiment, desire, and becoming curious about the woman who was emerging now.

I kept coming back to one thought with her:

Maybe you aren’t starting over. Maybe you’re finally discovering what all those years of living have taught you.

That is one of the things I love about this work.

Sometimes desire isn’t asking you to go backward.
Sometimes it is introducing you to who you are becoming.

When His Voice Wouldn’t Go Any Higher

One client came to me with something that didn’t sound sexual at all.

He was a singer, and whenever he tried to reach a particular higher pitch, his voice would crack.

So we became curious about it.

Over several months, our conversations moved through vulnerability, surrender, his relationship with his body, and what happened internally when he approached that place where his voice seemed to stop cooperating.

We weren’t sitting there trying to teach him how to sing.

We were paying attention to the person singing.

Nearly a year later, he came back and told me that his voice had opened in a way he hadn’t been able to access before.

But what stayed with me even more was that he also described feeling freer creatively and emotionally.

That experience reminded me why I call this work Erotic Intelligence.

The body communicates in more ways than one.

Sometimes it speaks through desire.
Sometimes through pleasure.
Sometimes through tension.

And apparently, sometimes through a note that refuses to come out.

No Two People Come Here for the Same Reason

These stories are different because people are different.

You may come to me with something sexual. You may come with something spiritual. You may be married, single, exploring multiple relationships, changing careers, questioning who you are, learning your body again, or carrying a question you haven’t even figured out how to say yet.

You don’t need to arrive with the answer.

Sometimes the question is enough.
